Are you passionate about the rights and well-being of LGBTQ2S+ older adults in Arizona? AZALEA is a safe space for the LGBTQ2S+ community and allies to come together and discuss important issues surrounding equity in later life. Whether you're a member of the LGBTQ2S+ community, a caregiver, aging services provider, advocate, or an ally, AZALEA is open to everyone who contributes to making our communities inclusive and supportive for LGBTQ2S+ older adults. By joining AZALEA, you'll have the chance to connect with like-minded individuals, share your own experiences, tell us about your programs, and work toward a vision for greater inclusion statewide.
We meet bi-monthly both in-person at the Beatitudes Campus in Phoenix, AZ and online via Zoom. Meeting are generally on a Friday morning from 10-12, with lunch from 12-1. Our meetings include a presentation on topics relevant to LGBTQ2S+ older adults and service providers, education and outreach workgroups, and opportunities for networking and collaboration.
